ATM's 'double your money' error →
Bwwaahhhaaaahaaaahaaaaaa! Sorry but well … the Banks do everything they legally can to shaft people out of their money, charging £25 for sending letters about 1p overdrafts, hiding extortionate interest rates for credit cards inside huge maasses of small print and they claim that they’re disapointed when people don’t report an error like this - really, they’re only got...

Pirates win music download battle →
I call shennigans … nay, I call bullshit! What a surprise, the record industry that’s been ripping everyone off for years bitching that they’re not making as much money at the moment by mudslinging around unsupported ‘facts’ that show that everyone in the world over the age of 3 weeks is a criminal … Fuck off!

I was in the market for a new Driver sometime soon (actually about 3 months ago but other things got in the way).  I tried some new drivers last year when the square drivers first came out and they were not only very loud but sounded horrible … fingers crossed that my search for a new model won’t permanently damage me.

UK short-selling ban to be lifted →
Are they mad? Wasn’t it just shit like this (OK, not exclusivly but still) that caused this whole global financial mess in the first place?? They banned it for a reason … it’s people making money buy selling things they don’t own and hoping that they’ll be able to return them with some profit intact … totally stupid!

Woman uses tape to trick biometric airport... →
While governments and airports (amongst others) continue to push boldly into our sci-fi style future where biometrics-R-everywhere, it would appear that not only are the systems rubbish (no surprise there then) but you can already buy kits to help you get past them. The Day the Earth Stood Still Takes a Tumble →
oh thank goodness … The Day the Earth Stood Still is a classic 1950’s alien invasion film. It’s been referenced in films as diverse as Evil Dead III, Toy Story and Tron. It’s an Alien invasion film but it’s really about, as a lot of films at the time were, nuclear war.  In short, one alien ship lands, one man and one robot appear (OK, it’s the 1950’2 and...

Anti-realistic photography →
Most people using computers and graphics spend huge sums of money and time trying to make fake thing look as real as possible … it’s therefore a tad weird to see someone take pics of real and quite dramatic events and using some technique known as tilt/shift, make it look like a bunch of dinky toys! I’m sure someone could sit me down in a pub and spend a long time explaining to...

A couple of days ago I posted a story about an insane man trying to back-flip a truck … now here’s another one jumping a Canyon, with the aid of a jetpack. The reality rebellion →
Could it finally be true? Have the public, the people that have encouraged the ‘reality’ tv explosion finally got sick of it? Are they turning their back on it and deliberatly sabotaging the shows that they watch or have the program makers just finally gone too far in trying to sensationalise the shows by telling the judges to be overly harsh about the performers. I don’t really...

Kitty Cat Hitches Ride on Back of a Roomba →
Welcome to the anthisis of the previous post … a cat sat on a running Roomba.  Now I don’t know if I’m just overly anthropomorphisising (real word or too many endings?) here but it looks to me like this cat is perfectly happy accepting this lift, but is somewhat bemused that he’s not ending up anywhere new or interesting, like at the food bowl.
